William, age 85, of Olivehurst, California passed away on March 21, 2011 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California. He was born September 8, 1925 in Purcell, Oklahoma, and has been a resident of the Yuba/Sutter area for 71 years. William worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 40 years. He loved his family, camping and listening to country music. William is survived by his wife, Lois Leach and his son, David Royer, both of Olivehurst, California. He is also survived by his 4 daughters, Carol Duncan of Olivehurst, California, Mona Robinson of Olivehurst, California, Linda Redden of New York and Dearlyn Owen of Browns Valley, California. In addition, he is survived by his 3 brothers, Vern Leach of Rio Linda, California, Victor Leach of Reno, Nevada and Richard Leach of Ridgecrest, California, by 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Effie Leach; 2 brothers, Basil Leach and Edward Leach; a sister, Lorene Hodges and 2 grand daughters, Shana and Lisa Robinson. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with services following at 1:00 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, California. Burial to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, California. Jon L. Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
