Bertha, age 91, of Yuba City, California passed away on February 23, 2011. She was born on January 24, 1920 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Bertha lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for most of her life and was a long time member of the Truth Tabernacle Church in Marysville, California. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Bertha is survived by her 2 daughters, Virginia Welch of Olivehurst, California and Mary Brewer of Rio Oso, California; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer James Lane in 1974 and by her son, Larry James Lane in 2006. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, California. Private Burial at Sierra View Memorial Park. Mark S. Eliason is the funeral counselor in charge of arrangements.
