Obituary of Lonnie Lee Ladyman

Lonnie passed away peacefully on September 22, 2012 at his home with his 2 daughters by his side. He was 79 years old, born April 29, 1933 in Norman, Oklahoma. He traveled by train to Yuba Sutter at the age of 9 with his mother Bonnie Echadie and sister Nellie and was later blessed with another sister, Joyce. He served in the US Navy, WWII Korea. He got out and got is private pilot's license as a contract pilot in 1957, and then went on to retire as a truck driver. His hobbies were classic cars, RC airplanes and faithfully attending the Sunday flea market. Survivors include his son, Lonnie Ladyman, Jr.; two daughters, Deborah Lay and Diana Green; 17 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Bonnie; and a son, John Arthur Ladyman. He will be buried next to his ex-wife Mary Ladyman at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, CA on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. Viewing is at 10:00am. Services are at 12:00pm, Noon.
