Obituary of Adolph August "Al" Kaschube

Al, age 78, passed away peacefully at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he has lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for over 30 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean War. Al had retired from Cal Trans after 24 years. Al will be remembered in West Marysville as a familiar walker who collected cans and bottles with his neighbor and friend, Lelah Holmes, to support class projects at Covillaud and McKenney Schools. He is survived by sons, Tim and Paul; and daughter, Donna Wiesse. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at 803 Sixth St. in Marysville, California. Cremation and burial at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, California. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
