Bill Henry Holly, 79, entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2009 at his home in Olivehurst, CA. He was born on June 6, 1929 in Wichita Falls, TX, and was a resident of the Olivehurst and Yuba County area for 23 years. Mr. Holly was a carpenter for 45 years, beginning his building career at a very young age. He enjoyed a quiet, solitary life, and he dearly loved time spent with his family. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Bill is survived by his son, Dan Holly of Olivehurst, his daughter, Debbie Jones of Janesville, CA, by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Dorothy Harbour of Olivehurst and Mary Jane Bounds of Quitman, TX, and by two brothers; Ray Holly of Browns Valley, CA and Ralph Holly of Wichita Falls, TX. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Holly. Bill was loyal and loving to his family, and he will be greatly missed. There will be a Viewing on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Chapel at Sierra View Mortuary, and the Funeral Service will take place immediately following the Visitation at 12:00 pm.
