Obituary of Doris Lavern Flewellen

Doris, age 78, passed away peacefully at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California. A native of Lakeport, Texas, she had lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for over 15 years. Doris was a homemaker for 60 years and enjoyed crocheting and horror movies. She is survived by her 3 sons, Danny Flewellen of Las Vegas, Nevada, Randy Flewellen of Marysville, California and Leroy Flewellen of Williams, California; 2 daughters, Katherine Dunning of White City, Oregon and Levie Flewellen of Central Point, Oregon; a brother, Michael Wylie of Marysville, California and a sister, Sharon Albert of Medford, Oregon. Doris is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Alivia, Anthony, Melissa Ann, Ginny Marie, Christina Dawn, Tiffany Lea, William A. the 2nd, Margaret Lynette, Christopher Matthew, Michael Lee, Robert Gene Wayne, Christopher, Brandon Leroy and Alisha Ann and by 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Flewellen in 1987. Cremation is planned at Sierra View Crematory in Olivehurst. A graveside service will be on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park. Pastor Benny Cryer with the Church of Christ in Olivehurst will be officiating. A luncheon will follow at the residence of Randy Flewellen, 2019 Hammonton Rd. Space #71, Marysville, California. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
