Nettie Marie Fields 93, of Olivehurst, California passed away August 27, 2011, in Marysville, California with her family by her side. She was born May 29, 1918 to Thomas and Ella Teague in Oklahoma. She was a retired restaurateur and was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 70 years. Survivors include her son Jim and his wife Shirley Fields of Olivehurst; 2 foster children Lavada Cress of Colorado, and Tim Thompson of Olivehurst; grandson Rick Fields; 4 great grandchildren: Ashley (Andrew) Rohleder, Kaylene Osgood, Davey Eaves and Brittany Fields, all of Olivehurst; 2 great-great grandsons: Cole and Connor Rohleder of Olivehurst; a brother Tom Teague of Texas; and many friends and family members. Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Fields; twin daughters, grandson Bobby Fields, and granddaughter Pam Osgood. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10AM at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, California with a potluck reception to follow. Mark S. Eliason is the funeral counselor in charge of arrangements.
