Obituary of Edlynn Paula Evans

Born Edlynn Anderson in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 5, 1942, passed away at her home on Friday, July 29, 2011 at age 69. A Marysville and Rio Oso resident for 24 years and resident of San Dimas, California for 18 years. Lynn was a highly respected and well loved elementary school teacher for more than 30 years and retired from Cedar Lane Elementary School in Linda, California in 2002. Lynn enjoyed life to the fullest by traveling with friends to Hawaii, England, and Scotland. She was happiest curled up with a good book, her view of the lake and feeding the ducks that frequented her patio. She also enjoyed her trips to Reno and Las Vegas with cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Evans in November 1999. She is survived by her son, Scott Evans and his wife Deanna, their children Scott, Chris and Savannah. Her sister, Marsha Tellers and husband Kenny of Cologne, Minnesota, several nieces, nephews and countless friends. In accordance with Lynn's wishes a memorial service will be held at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, California on Friday, August 5 at 10 a.m. Viewing to be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in her name. Edlynn will be buried with a private family service in Fairview Cemetery, Rio Oso, California. Mark S. Eliason is the funeral counselor in charge of arrangements.
