Obituary of Jack Davis
Please share a memory of Jack to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
10/20/26 - 9/24/12 Born in Hallwood, California to Lloyd and Grace Davis. Passed away peacefully at his home in Yuba City, California at the age of 85. If a man's earthly journey is judged not by the tangible things of life but by his impact on the lucky ones that he touched along the way with his kindness, compassion, generosity, love, sharp sense of humor, devotion to his family and to his country - then indeed his story is an enormous success and the Lord is truly proud of his work. For in the things of the heart that are priceless beyond all measure he gave us a legacy of love which will live on in generations yet to come. He was truly a rare gift on loan to us from above. Beloved husband of Betty Davis of 55 years; daughters, Sharon Carter and husband Ray of Marysville, Linda Zanze of Ione, and Paula Woodrum and husband Ron of El Dorado; son, Eric Eliason (deceased). A proud and irreplaceable Grandpa leaves grandchildren: Scott, Richard, Christopher, Eric II, Aaron,Scott, Richard, Christopher, Eric II, Aaron, Josh, and Kristen; and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by so many lifelong friends and family. No brighter star shines down from Heaven on those he loved. Happy motorcycling on the golden streets of Heaven, Daddy. October 2, 2012 viewing from 10 am to 11am at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst. Services following at 11 am. Reception to be announced after the service.
