Laverne, age 79, passed away peacefully at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California. A native of Hanlin, Texas, she has lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for 65 years. Laverne was a homemaker for 59 years. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lucich of Yuba City, California; and her 2 sons, Frank Whitecotton of Olivehurst, California and Thomas Whitecotton of Sheridan, Illinois. Cremation has taken place at Sierra View Memorial Park and services will be private. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
