Carrol, age 90, passed away peacefully in her home in Marysville, California. A 41 year resident of Yuba County, she enjoyed the Moose Lodge dances with her long time companion Donald Schaefer and singing with a chorus - visiting local senior centers and nursing homes. Born in Harrold, South Dakota, Carrol has 2 sisters, Viola and Josephine and 2 brothers, Neil and Morris. This beautiful family has thrived and produced many children, grand children, and great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 sons, Daniel, James and David; 3 grand children and 5 great grandchildren. Carrol is preceded in death by her husband Gene in 1989. In her last days, Carrol was cared for by a group of sensitive and loving ladies: Lynn Tsukuda, Mona Webb and Sandy Bryant-Camp. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend of many throughout her life and she will be in our memories forever. Cremation is planned, funeral services will be private.
