Obituary of Harold Stanley Childers

Harold Stanley Childers, 69, of Live Oak died June 30, 2011, in a car accident in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Born in Marysville, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 69 years. He retired from the Carpenters Union in 2005 as a Journeyman Carpenter for Boyd Roofing. Survivors include his wife, Vina Childers of Live Oak; a daughter, Deborah Ortmayer of Rainier, Washington; a son Leonard Childers of Aurora, Colorado; two grandsons and two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrna D. Childers and his parents, Henry and Dorothy Childers. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday July 7, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Sierra View Mortuary Chapel in Olivehurst, California. A chapel service is scheduled for Saturday July 9, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sierra View Mortuary Chapel in Olivehurst, California. Jerry Hodges will be officiating. Burial will take place at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, California. Mark S. Eliason is the funeral counselor in charge of arrangements.
