Obituary of Norma Leikini "Lei" Caudill

N."Lei" Caudill, age 73, passed away peacefully at her residence in Marysville, California. A Native of Honokaa, Hawaii, she lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for over 29 years. Lei retired from Beale Air Force base after 16 years as a produce clerk for the commissary. Lei liked working in her garden, paying special attention to her orchids and carnations. She is survived by her 4 sons, Robert Caudill of Marysville, David Caudill of Marysville, John Caudill of Roseville and Brandon Grace of Cathedral City; her brother, Nolan Grace of Pearl City, Hawaii; 2 sisters, Carol Nana of Waimanolo, Hawaii and Juanita Piccilo of Naalehu, Hawaii. Lei is also survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband David in 1995. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, California. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Chris Madsen of Sutter North Hospice will be officiating. Burial will be at Sierra View Memorial Park. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
