Virgil age 64, passed away on December 4, 2011 in Olivehurst, California. He was born July 23, 1947 in Iowa. Virgil served honorably in the United States Navy and was a Yuba County for 35 years. He was a social worker for the Yuba County Social Services Department for 35 years until his retirement. Virgil is survived by his 5 brothers and 4 sisters; Terry, Gary, Larry, Robert, Alan, Tammie, Donna, Sandy and Brenda. He is preceded in death by a brother Jim. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. at the Sierra View Mortuary Chapel in Olivehurst, California. Funeral services will be conducted at Sierra View Mortuary at 11:00 a.m. December 14, with burial to follow after the service. Mark S. Eliason is the funeral counselor in charge of arrangements.
