William W. (Bill) Bunting 90, of Olivehurst died Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Yuba County. Bill was born in Kennett, Missouri on December 28, 1919. He moved to California as a young man and married the love of his life, Pauline Wroten. He spent some time in the Army and then worked building Liberty Ships in Richland, California. After WWII, he returned to this area and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was extremely proud to have been a member of Operating Engineers, Local 3 during his career. Survivors include children, Mary Louise Patterson and her husband, Jim of Sutter, D. Jane Miller of Yuba City, and Ruben Henry Bunting of Olivehurst; grandchildren: Mark Miller, Melissa Miller, Mary Patterson, David Patterson and his wife, Kim, and a great-granddaughter, Rylin. He was preceded in death by wife, Melba Pauline Bunting, a son William Paul Bunting, brother Orvil Bunting, sisters Anis, Myrtle, Nettie, Nellie. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 5:00 pm at his home. Arrangements under the direction of Sierra View Mortuary, Olivehurst, CA
