Obituary of Hubert Eugene Berryhill

Hubert "Herbie" Berryhill, age 81 died November 15, 2011. He was born in Wakula Springs, Florida and was a resident of Olivehurst since 1977. Survivors include his wife Millie, son Donald (Korin) Berryhill, sisters Alma Purnell, Carolyn Roache of Panama City Florida, sister in law Carol Salas (Albert), of Linda, Martha Reynolds of Carmichael and several nieces and nephews. Herbie was preceded in death by sons Stephen and Danny Berryhill, his Mother and Father, 5 brothers and 1 sister. After 5 years in the military Herb worked as a timber faller for 17 years and as a mechanic. In 1977 he moved to Marysville and furthered his passion in gold dredgings until 2003. He entertained many with his adventurous stories and tales. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst. A Celebration of Life will be held after the service at the Berryhill home in Olivehurst. Mark S. Eliason is the funeral counselor in charge of arrangements.
