Earl J. Berry was called to his heavenly home early in the morning Saturday, September 8, 2012 at age 84 years. Earl was born in Blythe, CA July 21, 1928, eldest son of James and Margaret Berry. He died at the Angel Care Home in Browns Valley where he resided the past 9 months. Earl spent his early childhood in Fresno area and graduated from schools there. Following his military career he lived in Yuba City & Brownsville. He served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. He served in Germany, Turkey, Spain and Saudi Arabia, and the United States. Earl was a Technical Sergeant when he retired. During his Career he worked for the Secret Service in Europe. After his retirement Earl worked for Arnes Paint Store for 20 years. His hobby was restoring old cars, and painting cars and airplanes. Earl enjoyed traveling. He was an avid collector of coins. Earl is survived by three sons: Richard Berry of West Sacramento, CA, James Berry Modesto, CA, and adopted son Curtis Berry, Richardson, Tx. Three daughters: Candace Berry Moon, Tx, Earlene Berry Bowie, Fresno, Ca, and adopted daughter Christine Berry Pierce, San Antonio, Tx. Sister Charlene Pallesi, Fresno, Ca Grandchildren; Joy Berry Barerra, Mt. House, Ca, Noel Berry Balzatini, Mt House, Ca, James Berry, Modesto, Ca, Tyler Berry, Richardson, Tx, Cole Moon, Tx, Logan Moon, Tx, Devon Pierce, Tx, Derek Pierce, Tx. Great Grandchildren; Breahna & Chelsea Balzarini and Joseph Barerra Mt. House, Ca Nephews; Stanley Boyd, Jr., Fersno, Ca Stephen Pallesi, Fresno, Ca, Guy Aquayo, Ca, and Mike Aquayo, Ca. Nieces; Dr. Michele Aquayo, Birmmingham, Ala, Paula Aquayo, Ca. Charlotte Cassano, Fresno, Ca, Yevonne Berry, Ca, and Stella Berry, Vallejo, Ca. He was preceded in death by his parents; James & Margaret Berry, brother, Charles Berry, sisters, Mozelle Berry Boyd, and Bernita Berry Aquayo. Earl was a member of the Brownsville Lutheran Church. In Earl's honor a tribute gift may be sent to; Sutter North Hospice, 400 Plumas St., Yuba City, CA 95993 Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Sierra View Mortuary 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA. Funeral Services will be held at Sierra View Mortuary at 12:00 noon. Pastor Glenn Zogg, Brownsville Lutheran Church will officiate. Military Honors will be provided by the Beale Air Force Honor Guards. Graveside service will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park.
