Jessie, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home with her family in Marysville, California on July 4, 2012. She was born in Plymouth, California on June 26, 1917. Jessie retired from Cal Trans after 40+ years as a secretary. She was preceded in death by her loving husband 53 years, Donald Armstrong. Jessie is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Wanda and John Rocha of Marysville; son & daughter-in-law, Robert and Arvella Armstrong of Kimberly, Idaho; granddaughters, Dawn Bond of Marysville, Kathy Euritt and Robynn Wright of Colorado; grandsons, Dale Thorton of Texas, Clinton Armstrong of Utah; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great granddaughters. A graveside service will be on July 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, California. Pastor Rich Prickett of Sutter North Hospice will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sutter North Hospice. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
