Obituary of Kenneth Dale Cross

April 14, 1934 – September 18, 2024

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Josie, 5 children, Darlene Cowen, Kenny Cross, Dan Cross, Diana Adams & Tracy Cross. Along with their spouses he was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren 6 great-great grandchildren.

He spent 4 years in the US Navy aboard the Ship USS Philippine Sea during the Korean War. He retired from Yuba County as a Building Inspector. He spent many years as a Scout Master in Boy Scouts. Managed baseball teams and umpired many baseball games.

He was instrumental in the creating of the Foothill Lions Club and was a charter member. He received one of the highest awards from International Lions Club, The Melvin Jones Fellowship Humanitarian Award. He loved fishing & hunting & music. He and his brothers had the band Cross Country LLT. and for 9 years played in Northern California.
