Sandra Kay Roderick Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved sister Sandy Roderick on August 21, 2024. Born on August 5, 1948, a life-long resident of Sutter and Yuba Counties. Sandy was not only a sister but my best friendand confidant.Growing up, we shared countless adventures, was my protector, my partner in crime, and my greatest supporter. Sandy had an infectious laugh and a heart of gold, always ready to lend a hand or share a story. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

Sandy was an avid rockhound and numismatist. She often went to the river bottoms to seek rocks to add to her collection. Her collections were fantastic to behold.

She is survived by me, her brother, Paul Roderick and wife Cynthia, her grand granddaughter, Marissa, and niece, Deana Roderick and her husband, Richard.

She was predeceased by her father, Charles Bruce Roderick, her mother, Pauline Sina (nee Trolinger), our two brothers, Ray and Tom and her son, Patrick, Jr.

A grave-side service will be held at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, at 2:00pm, Friday, September 13, 2024. A celebration of her life will take place at 1648 Youngs Ln., Yuba City 95991 at 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Lung Association or a local charity of your choice.
