Evelyn Mae Bingham Obituary

Evelyn Bingham, of Yuba City, California, passed away on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 at the age of 105.


Evelyn was born to Sam and Tina Foltz of Goltry, Oklahoma on February 4th, 1919. 


On August 4th, 1939 she married Walter M. Bingham in Clear Lake, California. Evelyn worked as a homemaker and had five children. Evelyn was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed going cat fishing with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn was a proud fan of Giants Baseball, and you would often find her closely watching a game well into her last years of life. Evelyn also spent many years as an active member of the Yuba City Moose Lodge. Gardening was one of Evelyn's favorite hobbies and she had a beautiful garden where many family gatherings took place. It was also a hobby she passed down to her children and grandchildren. 


Eveyln is precedded in death by her parents Sam and Tina Foltz, husband Walter Bingham, brothers Donald & Edgar Foltz and her two son's Marlon Bingham and Walter Alan Bingham. 


Evelyn is survived by her daughters Gladys Jensen of Yuba City, Connie Perrson of Athens, Georgia, and Donna Heath, sister Peggy Friend of Oklahoma and her brother Delbert Foltz of Oklahoma. Evelyn is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren. 


Evelyn will be remembered as a kind heart always full of love, laughter and adventure by all those who were blessed to have known her.
