Obituary of Shane Tucker Bunn
Shane Tucker Bunn, 34, of Marysville, CA, passed away in Olivehurst, CA on February 26,2024.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Lindhurst High School with Pastor Colby Middlebrooks of Revive Church in Plumas Lake.
Shane Tucker Bunn was born to Bruce Bunn and Michelle Pelosi on May 17, 1989, in San Mateo, CA. He graduated high school from Lindhurst in 2008 and was part of the team that won two consecutive Gel-CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championship games for football in 2006-2007 & 2007-2008. Shane's passion for the game led him to become an assistant coach for his high school. Thirteen years ago, he fell in love with his late wife, Lindsay, and her daughter, Marley, whom he took in as his own. From then on, Shane invested his time in Marley's extracurricular activities, he coached her Junior softball team for Olivehurst Little League and assisting in the Peach Bowl for fall ball. The rest of the time, he cheered her on from the sidelines or in the bleachers.
Shane was widely known in the community for being a mentor to all, always willing to lend a helping hand to his family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers. He wanted to ensure children had a safe environment to learn and grow, personally and in whatever they set their minds to.
Shane worked as a truck driver for several years before he became an OPUD utility worker. He was passionate about his job and his colleagues.
Shane Tucker Bunn is preceded in death by Jean Ancheta, his grandmother, and Brady
