Lorenza Miranda Martinez

March 10, 1942 – December 23, 2023

Lorenza Miranda Martinez, 81, went home to heaven on Saturday, December 23, 2023,

surrounded by her family. She was born in Fresno, California on March 10, 1942.

Lorenza moved to Marysville, California in 1956. She worked in the hospitality industry

for year and was a harvest and cannery production foreperson for many years, taking

advantage of her bilingual expertise. Lorenza was an active member of several local churches in Marysville, Yuba City and Live Oak. She was a hardworking proud woman who took every opportunity to remind family and friends to attend church. Lorenza’s great faith was unwavering even in moments of tribulation.

Lorenza loved to cook for the many family get-togethers, preparing dishes that were

often the highlight of the meal. Lorenza also loved feeding her son’s friends who came

over and ate often, many of them saying it was the best Mexican food they’ve ever

eaten, a true chef. Lorenza will be truly missed.

Lorenza is preceded in death by her parents Carmen Bolanos and Jose Martinez, her son Tony and her siblings Johnny, Pete, Maxine, Mary, Louis, Tony, Robert, and Dolores.

Lorenza is survived by her sons Ricky, Robert (Irene), Peter, and Paul (Tiffany), her

siblings Virginia, Rudy, and, Esther, and her grandchildren Racheal, Guy, Desi, Danielle,

Daydra, Adrian, Anthony, Robert, Adriana, Deja, Peter, and Andreas.

Lorenza also leaves 13 cherished great grandchildren, many beloved nieces, nephews,

and in-laws.

The Lorenza Martinez family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all our family and
