Obituary of Rose Trujillo Soto

Rosie Trujillo Soto, 91, of Marysville, passed away on October 6th, 2023 with her family by her side. 

Rosie T. Soto was born in Calipatria, California to Quirino & Theresa Soto, on February 20th, 1932. Quirino and Theresa moved to Marysville California in 1955 and settled here with their 12 children: Sons, Quirino Jr, Albert, Raymond, Lupe and Joe; Daughters, Isabel, Rose, Terry, Bertha, Irma, Dianne and Eva. 

Those who knew "Challo" knew she loved to cook and had a passion for it. She was best known for her homemade flour tortillas and Tamales. Most family members and friends from all over California would ask her to make them when she would visit. All who came through her door, came in as friends, but left as family. She was not only a sister and a friend to many, but she was also known as a mother to many. If you were a friend of her kids, she would tell you to call her "mom."

Rosie is preceded in death by her father Quirino Soto Sr, her mother Theresa Soto, and brothers Quirino Soto Jr., Albert Soto and Raymond Soto. 

Rosie is survived by her oldest son Alfredo Arnold Agundez, her second son Adrian Soto Perez and her only daughter Sandra Perez-Nichols and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
