Obituary of Linda Mae Reynolds

Linda Mae Reynolds of Olivehurst, California, passed away on November 22, 2022 in Roseville, California. She was 89. 

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11 AM at Sierra View Mortuary & Memorial Park. After graveside services, family & friends are invited to   Word of Life Church at 1229 Buchanan Street in Marysville for a continuation of the celebration of life. Lunch will follow for family & friends at the church.

Linda's two sons, Pastor Stan Reynolds of Word of Life Church in Marysville and Pastor Steve Reynolds of Cross To Life Church in Olivehurst will be officiating at the services. 

Linda was born in Westville, Oklahoma to Lewis & Lennie Waters on May 29, 1933. She married J.C. Reynolds on May 1, 1953 in Olivehurst, California. Linda graduated from Marysville High School. Linda worked at Del Monte Cannery & Sunsweet Growers for over 28 years. She was very active in her church serving as a teacher, youth leader and in the singing ministry.

She is survived by her three children, Stan Reynolds, Steve Reynolds & Linda Gage, three brothers (Dean, Richard & Vernon Waters), and one sister (Shirley Hall). Linda had eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren with another boy coming soon. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Reynolds, three sisters, ( Naomi, Betty & Evelyn) and two brothers, (Leo & Glen) and her parents, (Lewis & Lennie Waters)..

The pallbearers are Andrew, Jonathan & Joshua Reynolds, Ken Kennedy & Bill & Justin Gage. Memorials may be given to the Word of Life Chirch for World Missions. The family would like to thank the nurses at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Roseville on the second floor (room 240-289) for their excellent care & their kindness to our Mom.
