Obituary of Betty Naomi McCray

Betty Naomi McCray, 91 of Marysville, California passed away on Nov. 13, 2022 in Sacramento California. 

 

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Monday, December 5 2022 at Sierra View with burial to follow.

 

Betty was born in Fairland Oklahoma to Homer and Julia Hall on March 10, 1931. She married Homer McCray on November 18,1949 in Oklahoma. She was a nurse and after the passing of Homer, she did private duty nursing and took care of many people until they passed. She loved her work and helped many family's after the passing of their family members. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Homer McCray of Marysville. Her grandson Brian Sedor of Marysville, her sisters Ada Bronaugh of Oklahoma and Thelma Crain of Kansas. 

 

She is survived by her daughter, Tereasa Kelley of Marysville. Her son Ross McCray of Michigan. Sisters Alma Jean McFarland, Sharon Williams and Edith Howland all of Oklahoma. Grandsons David McCray and Kyle McCray of California and Grand daughter Emily Roye of Michigan and Great Granddaughters Courtney Nolan of Washington, Lilee Roye of Michigan. As well as two Great Great Grandbabies Tyson Fisher of Washington and Stella Childers of Washington. Betty also has many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. 

 

A celebration of life will be held after the holidays with the date, time and location to follow.
