Obituary of Monserrate Villegas

Monserrate Villegas, 96, of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua passed away on July 18, 2022 in Linda, California.

Monserrate Villegas was born in Cerro Prieto Chihuahua, to Victor Ordonez and Mariana Mendoza. She worked in a textile factory in El Paso, Texas for 20 years and worked as a housekeeper until she retired. In 1980 she became a devout Christian and served God by working in the church and helped anybody that needed a helping hand. 

Monserrate Villegas is preceded in death by her son Arturo Juan Villegas and her grandson Luis Caraveo.

Monserrate is survived by Francisco Ordonez, Rosa Caraveo, Victor Ordonez & Maria Markham. She has 11 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren. 

The family of Monserrate Villegas wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctor's & nurses at Adventist Health +Rideout, Sutter Health Hospice Care, and Refugio Reyes for officiating the service. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 at Sierra View Mortuary from 10 AM -12 PM. Funeral Service will proceed at 12:00 PM, officating the service is Pastor Refugio Reyes. Burial will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by Sierra View Mortuary.
