Obituary of Mitchell Ray Pounds

Mitchell R. Pounds, age 60, of Gardnerville, NV, passed away Friday July 15, 2022, in Olivehurst CA, after a short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  He was born on August 10th 1961 in Yuba City, California. He was a 1979 graduate of Lindhurst High School and he worked as a laborer for 30 years.

Mitch's family and friends meant the world to him, He was famous for his enthusiastic sense of humor, hard work ethic and the occasional shenanigans. Mitch loved music and playing his guitar.

Mitch is survived by his beloved wife Kelly, and his children: Jarrod, Brittany, and grandchildren Ayden & Andrea. He is also survived by his parents Gerald and Martha Pounds, sisters Dolly, Janette, and Sandra.

Funeral Services will be held at Sierra View Memorial Park at 11:00 am on Saturday July 30, 2022. With a celebration of life after will be held at 1:00 pm at Emmanual Faith Tabernacle 5286 Feather River Boulevard Olivehurst, CA 95961.
