Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Linda Lee Langille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, kindergarten teacher,
and friend. She passed away on 08/14/2021 at home surrounded by her family after a
courageous battle with cancer at age 72. She was brave, and will remain in the hearts
of so many. We wish her safe returns to the heavens from which she was sent. She
was such a Beautiful spirit to be remembered.
Born to the late Norman and Margaret Reed in Washington DC, Linda was the oldest
of 8 children. As a child she was a helpful example to her sisters and brothers. Her
father was in the military and they moved a lot, eventually
settling in Southern CA. She graduated from Artesia Highschool and went on to
college at Cal State Fullerton graduating in the early 70’s. Linda was married in 1970 to
Robinson L. Langille. They moved to Live Oak, CA with their 2 children in 1978. In 1986
she began teaching at McKinley Elementary School in Gridley, CA. Most of her career
was dedicated to teaching kindergarten. She had a gift for teaching young children,
and helped many to become excellent students and people.
Later in life Linda developed a love for travel and became a great vacation planner
for friends and family making many fun adventures for all, all over the world. She also
helped her husband stay organized and on track. As they got older she was right by
his side leading their way, and for this he is forever grateful.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Rob, their children Julie and
Robby, their grandchildren Olivia and RJ, and her 7 brothers and sisters.
