Donato Pinedo Arteaga is survived by his wife Juana Villar Arteaga, his many children, Yrasema Arteaga, Donato Arteaga Jr., Armando Arteaga, Ernesto Arteaga, Enrique Arteaga, Francisco Arteaga, Angelica Villar Arteaga and Juan Villar Arteaga. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Gratiniana P. Arteaga Sanchez, Frederico P. Arteaga and Ignacio P. Arteaga.
Donato is preceded in death by his first wife Esperanza Castaneda Sanchez(2001), his son Alfredo Arteaga(1975) and his brothers Antonio P. Arteaga, Leopoldo P. Arteaga and his sisters Maria Luz Arteaga and Juventina P. Arteaga.
