Richard Francis Beissel, 67, of Maryville, CA, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on January 30, 2024, in Yuba City, CA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Sierra View Mortuary and Memorial Park with Pastor Charles Woods of Christ Has Risen Ministries officiating.


Richard was born in West Covina, California to Frank and Florence Beissel on June 29, 1956. He began his childhood in Southern California. In 1965 the family relocated from So.California to the Yuba Sutter area where he met and married Janet Knouse. They later became the proud parents of two boys, Jason and Ray Beissel.
Richards love for trucking led him to become a successful owner operator. He spent years “getting his rocks off”. A proud father, he passed the tradition of truck driving on to his two sons. He also loved riding his 1950 Pan Head, demolition derby’s and racing bomber cars.


Richard was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was known to be stubborn and outspoken and would always have your back. He will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched.
Richard is preceded in death by parents Frank and Florence Beissel and Brother David Beissel. Richard is survived by his sons, Jason and wife Desiree, son Ray and wife Angel, Brother Bill and wife Diane, significant other Rebecca. Twelve grandchildren: Acacia, Brittany, Nathan, Carla, Teagan,Paisley Dayton, Salem, Steven, Ashley, Raymond, Riley, and twelve great grandchildren.
