Obituary of Jose de Jesus Navarro Soto

It is with a heavy heart to announce the death of Jose De Jesus Navarro Soto, 59, of Marysville, CA.  A beloved father and loyal friend. He departed this earth on 1/20/2024, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever live in our hearts. 

Jose lived a life filled with kindness, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm smile, his extraordinary sense of humor, gentle guidance and his ability to always see the good in bad were a few of many talents he embodied.

Jose Navarro was not only a devoted father, but also a remarkable hardworking professional. From his start as an agricultural farm laborer with bigger dreams for himself and his family, he was able to secure a position at Sunsweet Growers and eventually became a well-respected industrial mechanic for the company with a brilliant mind for mechanics, dedicating more than 20 years of service. 

In his leisure time, Jose enjoyed cooking with his daughter Nancy, gardening, spending time with his family, going to the gym, signing and caring for any animal that crossed this path. 

Jose is preceded in death by his father, mother and aunt.

Jose is survived by his children, sisters and brothers. 

A Rosary will be held on 1/31/2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Sierra View Mortuary & Memorial Park to honor and remember his incredible legacy of courage, strength, kindness and love.  

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on 2/09/2024 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville with Father Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Sierria View Mortuary & Memorial Park. 

The daughter of Jose would like express sincere thanks to the priest that was able to come before Jose's passing to bless his body, his BMT (bone marrow transplant) team, his attending oncologist Dr. Carroll, to the unknow bone marrow donor and to family and friends who have offered support through this difficult journey.  

May Jose find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and uplift us all during this difficult time.
