Obituary of Phyllis Ann Triplett

Phyllis Ann Triplett of Olivehurst, CA passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Marysville, CA. She was born in Los Angeles, CA to Dewey and Wynona Zaelke. At a young age Phyllis moved to Paradise, CA and later graduated from Paradise High School. Phyllis attended bookkeeping courses at Yuba College. She worked part-time as a bookkeeper and worked various other jobs while caring for her children. Phyllis loved animals (especially cats and horses), traveling, being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. One of her greatest enjoyments was being surrounded by her family. She was the greatest supporter of her children and grandchildren and prided herself in attending events such as birthdays, graduations, sports, school performances, and any other special event. She was a proud member of both the Butte View Model A Club and the Yuba City Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Wynona Zaelke, her brother Durwood Zaelke, and her beloved daughter Tammy Logan. She is survived by her husband Bob of 46 years; her Aunt Jerri Pence of San Luis Obispo; two sisters: Charlotte (Bob) Gentry of Arizona and Kay (Mike) Vallely of San Luis Obispo; her children: Ricky (Cheryl) Logan of Indiana, Bobby (Mary) Logan, Michelle (Scott) Ridgeway, Trisha (Herb) Collier, Kim Triplett, and Rolona Triplett of the Yuba-Sutter area; 17 grandchildren: Jessica Roof, Amber Britton, Tony Britton, Ira (Krystyn) Logan, Brittany Logan, Ricky (Sabrina) Logan, Tanner (Kenzie) Logan, Steven (Melissa) Logan, Bobby (Bebe) Logan, Lori (Diego) Luna, Joshua Ridgeway, Jenna (Pablo) Lopez, Jacob Ridgeway, Janae Collier, Anisah Collier, Ashton Freise, and Keira Freise; 18 great-grandchildren; and by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral arrangements are at Sierra View Mortuary with a viewing Wednesday, June 27, 2018, 4 to 7 p.m. and funeral services on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1 p.m. A reception will follow the service at the Yuba City Moose Lodge, located at 205 South Walton, Yuba City.
