Obituary of Alton Elliott Brolliar
Alton Elliott Brolliar, age 103, of Yuba City, passed away on October 29, 2017. He was born on July 31, 1914, at Tisdale Weir, California to Arthur and Anna (Elliott) Brolliar. Alton worked as a Civil Servant at Beale Air Force Base during World War II. He went on to be a mechanic for several car dealerships in the Yuba City area, as well as working for the Siller Brothers as a heavy equipment operator. Alton was also a volunteer fire fighter in Sutter County and was a member of the National Rifle Association Rifle Team. In his younger years, he loved horses and would ride his horse to Winship School. He also loved fishing and hunting. He will be dearly missed. Alton is survived by his children: Milton (wife, Sandra) Brolliar of Magalia, Lelynd Brolliar of Yuba City, and Shirley Brolliar of Yuba City; 6 grandchildren: Monti Brolliar of Magalia, Joseph Brolliar of Magalia, Quin Lambert of Paso Robles, Kevin Brolliar of Yuba City, Keith Brolliar of Yuba City, and Kari Brolliar of Fresno; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, Jack, and his sister, Pearl. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 9, at 1 p.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
