Obituary of Gladys Beck

Gladys Beck October 9, 1927 -- July 15, 2017 Gladys Beck passed away from complications of COPD at Enloe Hospital, surrounded by family, July 15, 2017 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Waldo Beck and by her daughter Charlotte. Gladys is survived by her 6 children: Anna May, Waldo Jr. (Veronica), Charles, Mary (Mike), Greg and Walter (Jodie) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking for her family. She will be remembered for her selfless extravagant generosity. The Beck family is especially thankful for Diania Bingham of the Inn at The Terraces and of the caregivers there. Gladys loved each and every one of them. They would also like to thank the Doctors and nurses at Enloe for the loving care they provided to their mother in her final weeks. A special thanks to Dr. James Westcott for his care throughout the years. A visitation will be held for immediate family members and friends at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, at 4pm to 7pm on July 19, followed by a funeral service on July 20 at 10am.
