Obituary of Connie Lou Powell (Thornton)

Connie Lou Powell, age 86, of Olivehurst, passed away peacefully at her home on September 9, 2014. She was born in French Camp, California on March 11, 1928, to Frances and Edith (Ballien) Thornton. Connie was a homemaker for many years. She is survived by her seven children, her sister, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Connie was also an 18 year breast cancer survivor. Connie was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, September 15, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. A graveside service will take place on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park.
