Rhonda Gayle Danna Obituary

Rhonda Gayle Danna passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, in Yuba City,

California, at the age of 68.

Rhonda was born on April 26, 1958, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to Charles and Helen

Massey. During her childhood, her family moved to California, where she spent her

formative years in the Marysville and Olivehurst area and attended local schools. The friendships and memories she made there remained an important part of her life

throughout the years.

In 1977, Rhonda married Phil Morris. She begarn her professional career in

banking as a teller and, through dedication, hard work, and a natural ability to

connect with people , advanced to become a bank manager. Her success reflected both

her determination and her caring nature .

In her late thirties, Rhonda was diagnosed with Huntington

s Disease , a hereditary

illness that had affected others in her family. Despite the challenges that followed,

she faced them with remarkable courage and grace . Seeking a less stressful career

path, she transitioned from banking and became a property manager and

receptionist for a local insurance company, where she continued to serve others with

warmth, kindness, and professionalism.

In 2001, Rhonda met the love of her life, Joe Danna. They married in April 2002

and shared twenty-four years of love, laughter, friendship, and unwavering devotion. Together they built a life rich with family, travel, and cherished memories. Whether exploring new places or spending weekends at the coast, Rhonda and Joe

found joy in simply being together.

Rhonda especially loved the beach. Some of her happiest moments were spent

watching the sunset over the ocean with family and friends gathered nearby, sharing

stories, laughter, and a bottle of champagne as another beautiful day came to a

close. Those evenings reflected the things she valued most—love, family, friendship,

and gratitude for life

s simple blessings. Above all else, Rhonda loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother,

grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her children and

grandchildren brought her immense pride and joy, and she treasured every

opportunity to spend time with them. Her love, encouragement, and caring spirit

created lasting memories that her family will carry with them forever.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Massey; her

brother, Steve Massey; and her sister, Judith Workman.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Danna; her brother and sister-in-law,

Alan and Sandy Massey; her son, Brad Morris; her daughter and son-in-law,

Lindsay and Michael Johnson; daughters, Alyssa Hyndman; Katy and son-in-

law, Christian Ramirez; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Adriana Danna; eight

cherished grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many extended family members

and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Rhonda will be remembered for her strength, resilience, kindness, and deep love

for those around her. Though Huntington

s Disease brought many challenges, it

never diminished her spirit, her compassion, or her devotion to family. Her

legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the love she

shared so freely. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now in Heaven and at peace and

that her memory will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
