Please share a memory of Aligholi to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Aligholi (Marcel) Ghadjar-Rahimi was born on August 17, 1946 in Tehran, Iran to his mother Fatimeh Ghadjar-Rahimi and father, Nasser Ghadjar-Rahimi. He was the second of four children, he is preceded in death by his Sister, Patti, his mother and father. He leaves behind his twin brothers, Iraj and Bijan, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Marcel grew up in Iran and France before coming to the United States in the 1960s. He attended Yuba College, Chico State University, receiving his Masters in Engineering and then to Sacramento State University to obtain his MBA. Marcel loved to travel, and visited many friends and family as often as he could. When Marcel was not traveling or working, you could find him working out at the Racquet Club, in Yuba City.

Marcel dedicated three decades of his life serving as a Civil Engineer for Cal Trans, significantly contributing to various projects across California. His commitment to education was evident through his role as an evening instructor in Engineering at Yuba College.

Marcel was known for his charismatic personality and diligent work ethic. Marcel's life was one of vibrant engagement and enduring impact, leaving a legacy of professional dedication and personal warmth. It is never good-bye, rather I will see you later, old friend.
