In Loving Memory of Jack “Pops” Tibbetts
August 29, 1940 – September 14, 2025
Jack Tibbetts, affectionately known as Pops and Ace, lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and love. He was devoted to his family and known for his generosity, humor, and passion for helping others.
Jack’s lifelong love of baseball began at age five and never stopped — from batting rocks as a boy to playing with the Sacramento Solons earning 3 Championships and also earning a Lifetime Achievement Award. He coached, played, and inspired everyone around him, leaving behind a true legacy of dedication and joy for his love of Family and Sports.
When he wasn’t on the ballfield, Jack loved working in his yard, barbecuing, and spending time with the people he loved most. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; And his children from his first Marriage to his late wife Vada Tibbetts and their children Jeffery, Michael, and Susann; He had eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Forever in our hearts — your spirit and your love will always shine brighter than the stars, you will be forever in our hearts Pops.
