Debborah Marie (Olson) Elliott passed way peacefully on September 11,2025 surrounded by her family. She had battled a respiratory illness off and on for a few years which ultimately led to her passing. 

She was born to Shirley M (Schmidtka) Hannahs on January 2, 1960 in Marion, Ohio. Her father John Roger Olson married Shirley in 1962 and he helped raise Debbie as his own. They all 3 traveled together for her dad being in the Air Force. Experiencing different areas of the United States. Upon his retirement they settled in at Beale Air Force base. 

Shortly after she moved off the base and met Kenny Elliott in middle school. Not knowing that 11 years later they would start a life together.

Debi and Kenny have been married 42 years. Both of them took their wedding vows very seriously and the love they shared was unlike any other. Together they raised and cared for 3 beautiful children. She devoted her life to her family. When her kids became parents, she devoted her time and love to her grandkids. 

She gave so much of herself to others. She was like a mother to everyone. Wanted nothing but the best for all those she came across. Her sheer will and determination inspired and touched everyone she came in contact with. 

Despite her being confined to a wheelchair since she was age 13, her strength and determination was unlike any other. There wasn’t anything she would give up on. No task left undone and no person left unloved. A shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and a mother’s heart for all who knew her. 

Debi was a strong believer in Christ our savior and lived her life with unwavering Faith. 

She leaves behind her husband: Kenny Elliott. Children: Jeremy, Kristina, and John. Grandchildren: Abriana, Damian, Dominic, Jeremiah, Joshua, Jon, Lisamarie, Scarlett, Ari, Leah, and Steven.  Siblings: Bob Files, Jim McCarty, Chris Hannahs, AnnaMae McCarty, and Jacki Mchone as well as Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews
