Obituary of Raymond Anthony Escovedo

Raymond Escovedo age 79 passed away in Roseville, California on April 23, 2025. He was born in Marysville, California on May 19, 1945 and raised in the Yuba- Sutter area.

When Raymond became of age, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in January of 1963 and served his country until 1968 Raymond was the owner and operator of the South Lake Tahoe Glass Company for 32 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Marsha Roy from Oakland, Marla Morton (Tim) from Tennessee, Lainie Escovedo from Los Angeles, CA., Nicole Chambers from Lake Tahoe, CA., his son, Bart Escovedo (Polly) from Sacramento, CA., his sister, Cecilia Rico (Frank) from Lancaster, CA, 9 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

Raymond is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Martha Ann Escovedo. His parents Antonio and Soledad Escovedo, his brothers Angelo, Tony, Frank (Mun) and Jesse (Carol).
Sisters, Ruth Gutierrez (Tony), Molly Garcia (Adam) and Victoria Lopez (David).

Services will be at Sierra View Mortuary Chapel on May 15th, 2025 with burial following at Sierra View Memorial Park.
